One of the most interesting lavender oil recipes is the relaxing body butter, which can be made using five to seven drops of lavender essential oil, two tablespoon olive oil, two tablespoon cocoa butter and two table spoons of shea butter. After melting cocoa and shea butter, mix in olive oil and lavender oil and allow the mixture to cool. Ensure the consistency is thick and creamy. As an option you can add in some Vitamin E and store the mixture in an airtight container. 

Lavender oil, blended with other essential oils thus provides interesting combinations which heals, soothes and relaxes. It is advisable using lavender oil in combination with carrier oil and not in its pure state as it is very strong.
